Tonight’s Concert at Wenzel Plaza Will Still Take Place

MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Heavy rains and storms overnight led to flooding in Central Wisconsin. The Yellow River was no exception, flooding RiverEdge Golf Course and forcing the annual Fore Roger fundraiser for Alzheimer’s research to be postponed to July 22.

“With standing water on the course, we are left with one choice and that is to postpone the event to next Friday,” said Marshfield Insurance CEO Nick Arnoldy. “We’d be ecstatic if everyone could join us next week with better conditions hopefully.”

Tonight’s concert at Wenzel Family Plaza is still taking place, featuring nationally-acclaimed band “Jocelyn & Chris,” food, and beer. The concert is free, with any donations going towards the cause (Alzheimer’s research).

“The weather is supposed to improve by tonight and it’ll be a great concert!” said Arnoldy. “We hope everyone can make it.”
