Four unearned runs in the 11th inning led the Medford Raider Softball Team to a 4-0 win over Lakeland.

Lakeland would have opportunities in the 9th with the bases loaded but Ali Timmerman would ground into a fielder’s choice, and in the 10th when Karlin Williams would hit a lead-off Triple, but be erased on another fielder’s choice in the next at-bat.

Medford would score in the top of the 11th, Addison Brahmer would reach on 3rd strike past ball, and Grace Schmitfranz would sacrifice to move the runner over. Before Rylee Hraby hit a fly ball that could not be played, Brahmer would score on the error. After a strikeout, Tori Konieczny would hit another fly ball that would drop in on an error, allowing Hraby to score.

Zaleah Leonhardt would then walk before Chelsea Gebauer would hit a line drive to center field that would score both Konieczny and the courtesy runner Baumgartner.
