A fundraiser has been set up for a Granton family whose mother passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning after complications during a C-section. Her child is still in the NICU in Marshfield.
Tennille Thomas, 43, is survived by her husband, Wayne, and 9 children ranging in age from newborn to adult.
Rev. Keith Kitzhaber of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Marshfield has set up a GoFundMe page to help the family with funeral arrangements and other expenses.
“It was very unexpected. She was otherwise healthy,” he said. “The situation is very tragic. She was taking care of all the kids, and then now the coronavirus on top of it.”
The fundraiser can be accessed at this link. Kitzhaber plans to match the largest donation, up to $1,000.
