SPENCER, WI (OnFocus) – The community of Spencer is raising funds for a new stage/shelter that will be built in Lion’s Park.
“We are working on applying for a grant which has to be in by January 31,” the group stated. “We need your help and support. This will be a community project and will be open for the public. Any monetary donations are welcome and letters of support are also a way to help.”
The group hopes to complete the entire project in 2023; however, the minimum is to build the stage and 25′ or more of the overhead shelter over the stage until they have the funding.
“We have a $25,000 matching fund available for donations made before January 28th,” they said.
