Grand Slam Track announces four new Challengers heading into Kingston Slam
Grand Slam Track™, the global home of professional track competition, launched by four-time Olympic Champion Michael Johnson, today announced four more elite Challengers who will compete in the Kingston Slam, April 4–6th, at National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

The Challengers are world-renowned competitors set to electrify the crowd in Kingston.

The individuals are as follows:

  • Emmanuel Wanyonyi, Kenya, Men’s Short Distance – Olympic Champion (2024, 800m)
  • Dina Asher-Smith, Great Britain, Women’s Long Sprints – three-time Olympic medalist (4x100m relay), World Champion (2019, 200m), four-time British record holder (100m, 200m, 60m, 4x100m relay)
  • Bryce Hoppel, USA, Men’s Short Distance – World Indoor Champion (2024, 800m), American record holder (1:41.67, 800m)
  • Jacious Sears, USA, Women’s Short Sprints – second fastest 100m time in NCAA history, current world leader in 60m (7.02)

These Challengers will join the roster of 48 Racers, including Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Gabby Thomas, Melissa Jefferson, Masai Russell, Alexis Holmes, Quincy Hall, Fred Kerley, Kenny Bednarek, Cole Hocker, Yared Nuguse, Grant Fisher, Josh Kerr, Matthew Hudson-Smith, Oblique Seville, Ackera Nugent, Roshawn Clarke, Rushell Clayton, Nickisha Price, Nikki Hiltz, Cyrena Samba-Mayela, Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, Alison Dos Santos, Ronald Kwemoi, Muzala Samukonga, Sasha Zhoya, Marileidy Paulino, Jess Hull, Marco Arop, Devon Allen, & many more.

More Challenger announcements will be made leading into the Kingston Slam. All four Grand Slam Track events will be streamed live in the U.S. on Peacock including exclusive coverage of Slam Fridays, with the CW Network providing broadcast coverage of Slam Saturdays and Sundays. International broadcast information will be announced soon.
