The Northwoods League featured the All-Star game between the Great Lakes East and West divisions Tuesday evening. The Great Lakes West came out dominating with an 11-7 win. Brendan Bobo of the Wisconsin Rapid Rafters was named the 2023 NWL Great Lakes All-Star Game Star of Stars (MVP).

Braden Duhon (McNeese St) led the East offense going 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI on the night. Karson Hesser (Northern St) tallied two RBI off a single while Charlie Rhee (San Diego St) went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Glenn Miller (Eastern Michigan) went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Nick Powers (Michigan St) got the start for the East throwing 1 inning and allowed only three hits, three runs, zero walks, and two strikeouts.
Dalton Pearson (Georgia St) went 3-for-5 with a double, one RBI, and two runs scored for the West. Brendan Bobo (California St – Fullerton) went 4-for-4 with two doubles, a home run, three RBI, and scored three times. Colin Brueggemann (Oklahoma St) went 1-for-2 with a two RBI double and one run scored. Justin Doyle (Stevens Institute of Technology) was the winning pitcher of this game, throwing 0.2 innings and allowed zero hits, zero runs, zero walks, and one strikeout. The Great Lakes West pitching staff combined for nine hits and ten strikeouts.
