UPDATE: AIMEE HAS BEEN LOCATED
A green alert has been issued for a missing veteran. Aimee McCaughey was last seen on Monday April 15, 2019 in Eau Claire, WI.
Aimee suffers from PTSD/Depression and it is unknown if she is taking her medication as prescribed. She has a history of self harm and thoughts of suicide. However, she had not made any specific threats or statements as of Monday. Her phone is turned off and goes straight to voicemail.
Aimee is currently homeless, but is maybe around the Bloomer, WI area or Augusta, WI area. At this time we are concerned about Aimee’s well-being due to some of the issues she had struggled with and would like to locate her to check her welfare.
She was last seen wearing a grey zip-up jacket and grey sweatpants (as of 4/15/2019). She was driving a 2014 white Cherokee Sport utility jeep, license plate WI, ABY8750.
