Greenwood (OnFocus) – Two area athletes are named to the WSN Senior Quarterback Watch List: Greenwood’s Cooper Bredlau and Wausau West’s Garrett Richardt.
The award, named after D.C. Everest and Milton College alum Dave Krieg, is presented annually to the state’s top senior quarterback as part of the WSN Senior Football Awards. Krieg who went on to play 12 seasons in the NFL and ranked in the Top 15 all-time in most passing categories at the time of his retirement.

The pre-season list will be trimmed down to about 25 semi-finalists halfway through the year, with five finalists chosen at the start of the playoffs. Winners are announced the week of the state finals.
