MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Wildwood Zoo today celebrated Luna and Malakai’s birthday. The two wolves partied in style with a bone broth “cake” with delicious baby food frosting, and meatball and cheese accents.
“Luna did also enjoy the treats (rolling in them anyway) but preferred to do so once the camera left,” they stated.
The average lifespan of wolves in the wild is only about 7-8 years but under human care, wolves often live into their teenage years! (Smokey passed away earlier this year.)
