Area Tactical Teams Executed Five Search Warrants
Town of Hansen (OnFocus) On October 6th 2022, the Wood County Sheriff’s Department executed five search warrants in the Town of Hansen and Village of Vesper. Through the search they recovered a large quantity of Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and Heroin from the residences.
Investigators also seized a large quantity of United States currency along with firearms.
Throughout the morning citizens near the Town of Hansen and Village of Vesper in Wood County reported heavy police presence. This was a result of several tactical teams executing five search warrants. These teams consisted of Marshfield Police Department, Wisconsin Rapids Police Department, Nekoosa Police Department, Marathon County Sheriff’s Department, Stevens Point Police Department, Plover Police Department along with members of the Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force, as well as the Wood County Sheriff’s Department.
As a result of these searches, several individuals were arrest, John Andereggen (55), Crystal Van Ert (31), Crystal Volk (30), John Brogan (42), Stephanie Bennett (28), Mark Reiss (54) and Patricia Kuter (67).
