MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Marshfield Police assisted in ending a high-speed chase that was heading towards Marshfield around 4:21 Wednesday morning.
At this time it was reported the truck and trailer were reported as stolen by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.
The pursuit traveled eastbound on Hwy 10 and was heading towards the Clark/ Wood County Line. In Wood County spike strips were deployed at the county line on Hwy 10, but were unsuccessful in the stopping the truck/ trailer.
The pursuit continued eastbound into Wood County were the vehicle crashed at Hwy 10 and Klondike Drive. A male subject identified as 22-year-old Timothy Adam Chambers was taken into custody for Felony Fleeing.
Other departments involved in the pursuit were the initiating agency Pierce County Sheriff’s Department and assisting agencies Clark County Sheriff’s Department and Neillsville Police Department. In total, eight agencies assisted in the arrest including: Wood County Sheriff’s Department, Pierce County Sheriff’s Department, Clark County Sheriff’s Department, Neillsville Police Department, Marshfield Police Department, Richfield Fire Department, Marshfield Fire and Rescue, and Nieman’s Tow Service.
This incident is still under investigation and charges through Pierce County and Clark County will follow.
