MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The Highground outside of Neillsville will be hosting a Veteran’s Day Memorial on Thursday, Nov. 11.
The event will begin at 3 p.m. and will be held outdoors. The Wisconsin KIA/MIA/POW names will be heard throughout the Park from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. with the Ceremony beginning at 3 p.m.
The Highground will have Kari C. Porter, LPC and Director for the La Crosse Vet Center, as this year’s guest speaker. Veteran support and services will be onsite for continued resources. Coffee and sweets will be served.
The event will be held outdoors and the length will be determined by the weather.
Attendees are also invited to stop by The Highground Museum to explore the “Women in the Military” exhibit.
