Ho-Chunk Gaming Nekoosa Presents: Military Appreciation Night and Jersey Auction

Come on out to Historic Witter Field on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 as your Wisconsin Rapids Rafters honor all Military personnel. This game is sponsored by Ho-Chunk Gaming-Nekoosa and will feature a Jersey Auction! Make sure to get your tickets now to see your Rafters take on the Lakeshore Chinooks at 6:05pm. Also, all military members who show their Military ID will get a free ticket!

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are nearly halfway through their 2023 home schedule this season, but don’t worry there’s still plenty of time left to get to Witter Field to watch your Rafters. Through their first 20 scheduled games, the Rafters have posted a record of 10-10, but their record can be deceiving at times. A couple of weeks ago, the Rafters erased their sluggish start by going on a six-game win streak, at the time it was the longest active win streak in the entire Northwoods League. Outside of that win streak, the Rafters have been the recipients of some special moments, a walk-off single by Levi Jensen on a rainy Saturday night against the Wausau Woodchucks, a three-home run performance by Jack Gurevitch on June 17th to earn him NWL Player of the Night honors. Not to mention the Rafters have the second-best team ERA in the entire Northwoods League at 3.30. Wisconsin Rapids find themselves just 1.5 games out of first in the Great Lakes West with the first half of the season quickly coming to a close. They’re gonna need your help cheering them on to help them reach the NWL postseason yet again.
