MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The Great American Solar Eclipse of April 8, 2024 is over, but more celestial events will take place in the future in different parts of the world. Want to donate your glasses to a good cause?

Eclipse Glasses USA, a leading provider of eclipse glasses, has an Eclipse Give Back program. This initiative aims to redistribute used, undamaged eclipse glasses to countries with upcoming eclipse events, promoting safe viewing practices and fostering a love for astronomy among young minds.

One of the primary beneficiaries of this initiative are school children in countries that might not have easy access to eclipse glasses. By redistributing these glasses, Eclipse Glasses USA hopes to provide educational institutions with the tools they need to offer their students a safe and enlightening eclipse viewing experience.

The donation program accepts only US-made paperboard glasses bearing the manufacturer’s address, contact information, and the ISO logo. Damaged or unusable glasses are promptly discarded to ensure the safety of recipients.

Individuals interested in participating can send undamaged eclipse glasses to:

Eclipse Glasses USA, LLC
PO BOX 50571
Provo, UT 84605
