Drop-off Locations Around Marshfield Are Accepting Donations

MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Marshfield Area United Way recently announced the return of its Community Baby Shower initiative aimed at providing essential supplies to local families facing financial hardship. The event, running now through May 31, 2024, calls upon the community to donate much-needed items such as diapers (sizes 4, 5, 6), pull-ups of all sizes, nighttime pull-ups, wipes, and baby hygiene products.

The Community Baby Shower serves as a lifeline for families experiencing economic challenges, ensuring that their infants and toddlers have access to basic necessities. By participating in this initiative, members of the Marshfield community have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of their neighbors.

“Caring for our community means extending a helping hand to those who need it most. The Community Baby Shower isn’t just about providing essentials; it’s about nurturing hope and support for families facing economic hardships. By supporting this cause, MMCCU is reaffirming our commitment to lifting up our neighbors and creating a brighter future for all,” said David Murphy, MMCCU President. “Together, we can make a meaningful impact in the lives of infants and toddlers, ensuring they have the essentials they need to thrive.”

All donations collected during the Community Baby Shower will be distributed to local agencies directly serving families in need. Drop-off locations are conveniently located throughout the area, including at MMCCU (302 W Upham), Festival Foods, Nelson Jameson, and various other sites. A complete list of drop-off locations can be found on the Marshfield Area United Way website.
