Marshfield, WI (OnFocus) J&J Games will be moving from the Marshfield Mall to its new downtown location at 327 South Central.
“I actually took over the business in December, and we had always talking about moving down Central,” said owner Jonathan Oswalt, who operated the business with his father. “The big thing that hindered us we could never get the gumption to get things rolling.”
When the opportunity to relocate downtown presented itself, Oswalt decided it was finally time to make the move.
The store’s mall location is currently closed and it will likely reopen downtown September 1. J&J Games offers a variety of board games, comics, card games, and more. It also regularly hosts player events that appeal to the local gaming community and newcomers who want to learn how to play a certain game.
Once the store reopens, Oswalt will assess any changes he would like to make to the inventory and continue to provide a local option for gaming needs.
