The SPASH Panthers edged Merrill 61-57. The win moves SPASH to 4-4 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference and 6-7 on the season.
“Tonight we got that last big shot to win,” said SPASH Head Coach Kraig Terpstra. “Emma Jossie stepped up and made a big shot to put us ahead with under 15 seconds.”
Emma Jossie led SPASH with 20 points. Zoe Fink added 18 points, all three-pointers, for the Panthers.
“We beat a good team tonight,” Terpstra added.
Lauren Strasman led SPASH with 9 rebounds.
Courtney Krueger had 20 points to lead Merrill.
“Both Jossie and Zoe Fink were very impressive tonight,” Terpstra shared.
