MARSHFIELD, WI (Submitted to OnFocus) – The Friends of Jurustic Park, in cooperation with Clyde & Nancy Wynia, have an exciting announcement regarding the future of Jurustic Park.
When Clyde & Nancy decide they want to set the creatures from Jurustic Park free, plans are in the works to be sure everything stays right here in Marshfield.
Both have been very generous to the Marshfield Community and they have talked about how they want Jurustic Park to live on in Marshfield, after they eventually decide to hang up their tour guide hats.
The Friends of Jurustic Park (made up of a dozen local community leaders, friends, and confidants) & The Wynia Family are proud to announce the future home of Jurustic Park will be in Marshfield, with a proposed location at Wildwood Park.
Jurustic Park continues to operate at 112021 Old Sugar Bush Lane, about six miles north of downtown Marshfield, and will do so for the foreseeable future.
The Friends of Jurustic Park are working with city leaders on securing a location in Wildwood Park for future development. The proposed sculpture park will hold the majority of Clyde’s current large works as well as some new projects in the pipeline. Pending city approval, The Friends of Jurustic Park will consult a design firm that specializes in projects like this to make the project a beautiful reality for the community.
Again, Jurustic Park will continue in its current capacity, open most days from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April through Labor Day & 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. after Labor Day through March, at its current location.
The Friends of Jurustic Park want to thank the Wynia Family for working with us to secure the future of Jurustic Park in Marshfield, putting smiles on the faces of thousands of visitors and residents each and every year.
