MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Late Sunday night Marshfield Police initiated a traffic stop at the corner of South Washington Ave. and East 22nd Street. Upon stopping the vehicle, K-9 Rika was requested to the scene.
K-9 Rika indicated the presence of a controlled substance from within the vehicle.
Police subsequently arrested a 27-year-old Marathon female for possession of methamphetamine. A 35-year-old Arcadia male was also arrested for his first offense OWI.
A request for charges is being forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney’s Office for the female.
