Voters came out to support top performers last week, and it was Kewaskum Girls Basketball’s Julia Steger who picked up the title of OnFocus Athlete of the Week, March 5 to March 11, collecting 992 votes.
Second place was earned by the Auburndale Boys Basketball duo of Mason White Eagle and Alex Willfahrt, with 363 votes.
Garnering third place was Nolan Hertel of UW-Lacrosse Men’s Wrestling(Marshfield HS Grad) with 225 votes.

OnFocus Athlete of the Week, March 5 to March 11
- Grace Grocholski, Kettle Moraine Girls Basketball – Grocholski came up big for Kettle Moraine as they won the WIAA Girls Basketball Division 1 Championship Saturday night, scoring 24 points in the Lasers’ 47-40 win over Brookfield East. Grocholski collected a double-double Friday evening with 21 points and 14 rebounds as KM downed Hortonville in a state semifinal.
- Nolan Hertel, UW-Lacrosse Men’s Wrestling(Marshfield Wrestling Alum) – Hertel claimed the NCAA Division III Championship at 157 pounds on Saturday, winning the title in overtime.
- Julia Steger, Kewaskum Girls Basketball – Steger’s double-double was key in Kewaskum’s 55-51 win over Milwaukee Academy of Science in the WIAA Division 3 Girls Basketball Championship Saturday afternoon. Steger collected 23 points and 10 rebounds in the win, making 7 of 11 shots from the field and making good on 8 of 11 free throws.
- Mason White Eagle / Alex Willfahrt, Auburndale Boys Basketball – White Eagle and Willfahrt came up big for Auburndale Thursday evening in Auburndale’s 55-47 sectional semifinal win over Marathon, scoring 16 points apiece. White Eagle then scored 26 points and Willfahrt added 15 points in the Eagles’ narrow loss to St. Mary Catholic in the sectional final.
- Gracie Holland, UW-Whitewater Women’s Track (Marshfield alum) – Holland took first place in the pole vault at the NCAA Division III Women’s Track and Field Championships.
