Kiwanis Enormous Equipment Playground (KEEP) Brings Big Fun for Kids of All Ages in Marshfield

MARSHFIELD, WI – The Kiwanis Club of Marshfield, in collaboration with local businesses, will host the highly anticipated Kiwanis Enormous Equipment Playground (KEEP) on Saturday, October 5th, at the Marshfield Fairgrounds, located at 513 E. 17th Street. The event will take place rain or shine, with admission at just $3 for ages 1-12 and $6 for ages 13 and older.

KEEP is a family-friendly event that provides kids—and adults—the opportunity to get an up-close look at an impressive array of construction, farming, public service, and trade vehicles. Children will have the chance to sit in the driver’s seat of these enormous machines, offering a unique experience they’ll never forget. From bulldozers and tractors to fire trucks and utility vehicles, KEEP brings Central Wisconsin’s industrial world to life for curious minds.

In addition to the vehicle showcase, KEEP offers a wide range of hands-on activities to engage children. Past activities have included:

• Sifting for “gold”
• Making concrete cakes
• Building brick walls
• Rock painting
• Construction-themed bean bag toss
• Bounce house and balloon creations
• Enormous sand pile
• Bale maze
• Toy building and much more!

Food concessions and souvenirs will be available on site for families to enjoy while they explore the event.

Quality Roofing, a local business that supports KEEP every year, will once again bring their impressive crane and other equipment for children to explore.

“We look forward to KEEP every year. It’s great to see the excitement on the kids’ faces when they get to see and sit in the equipment we use every day,” said Pat Begotka, owner of Quality Roofing.

In true Kiwanis spirit, all proceeds from KEEP will go toward supporting local children’s programs in Marshfield. Additionally, the Kiwanis Club will be collecting new and gently used books for children and teens as part of their mission to support literacy in the community.
