MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The Kiwanis Club of Marshfield, along with many local businesses, will host the Kiwanis Enormous Equipment Playground (KEEP) for kids of all ages. Join them on October 7th at Marshfield Fairgrounds (513 E. 17th Street Marshfield, WI)
Admission: $3.00 ages 1-12 and $6 ages13 and older.
Rain or Shine
KEEP is a family event where children of all ages can get a close up a view of construction, farming and public service vehicles and equipment, as well as vehicles unique to trades. The children even get a chance to sit in the driver’s seat. KEEP also engages the kids in numerous hands-on activities.
“We always enjoy participating in this great community event,” said Pat Begotka, Quality Roofing Inc. “Our crane will be there this year.”
Activities from the past include sifting for “gold”, making concrete cakes, building a brick wall, rock painting, construction bean bag toss, bounce house, balloon creations and enormous sand pile and maze (weather permitting) plus more!
Food concessions and souvenirs are also on site. In keeping with the Kiwanis philosophy, proceeds from KEEP go to benefit children’s programs in the Marshfield area.
Kiwanis Club of Marshfield will also be collecting new and/or slightly used kid’s-teen’s books for our local Kiwanis Kids Mini Library located in the Wenzel Family Plaza.
