Lakeland Union picked up the title at the Mosinee Golf Invite, held at Wisconsin Dells.
“There is no other way to say it other than we played poorly. We did improve on the second day, but these scores are not competitive and not where we expect to be,” shared Wittenberg-Birnamwood Boys Head Golf Coach Chris Barletti. ” This was a difficult championship course with a very talented field and I think those factors intimidated many of our players. We had stretches where we played decently, but we need to be consistent.”

“A 36 hole tournament requires continuous focus and execution and we just didn’t have it, George was able to post 2 decent rounds and Jaden had a very good round going on day 2, but had a disastrous hole 4 which hurt his final result. This was a good experience for us and each player seems determined to learn from this and work to improve,” Barletti added.
