The first lane closures of the North Central Avenue Project took effect today.
The project will remove and replace the asphalt surface, upgrade sidewalk curb ramps to ADA standards, repair curbs between Arnold and Harrison Streets, and improve traffic signal and median island construction at Arnold Street and Doege Street.
Work on this stretch of Central Ave. will continue through August.
