An investigation into a Saturday fire at Lang Equipment has concluded. The fire was determined to have originated in the work area and was accidental in nature, but the specific cause of the fire is undetermined, according to Lincoln Fire Department.
Nearly a dozen area fire agencies assisted after smoke was reported at Lang Equipment in Marshfield shortly after 8 a.m. Parts of the roof were opened up and hot insulation was removed. No injuries were reported.
Lang Equipment is currently operating out temporary space at the same location as it works to repair its facility, including extensive smoke damage. It is offering its services as usual, including repair work.
