Langbehn K’s 15 in Everest’s Shutout Win over Wausau East

Nate Langbehn had all the right stuff on Tuesday for D.C. Everest Evergreens Varsity, allowing zero runs and besting Wausau East Varsity Lumberjacks by a score of 9-0

D.C. Everest Evergreens Varsity secured the victory thanks to five runs in the third inning. D.C. Everest Evergreens Varsity’s big inning was driven by a single by Jake Vercimak, an error on a ball put in play by Langbehn, and a double by Andrew Cotter.

A single by Zach Pagel in the second inning was a positive for Wausau East Varsity Lumberjacks.

Langbehn earned the win for D.C. Everest Evergreens Varsity. Langbehn lasted seven innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out 15 and walking one.

RJ Stromming took the loss for Wausau East Varsity Lumberjacks. The bulldog allowed four hits and six runs over five and a third innings, striking out four.

D.C. Everest Evergreens Varsity collected eight hits. Vercimak and Cotter each collected multiple hits for D.C. Everest Evergreens Varsity. Cotter and Vercimak each collected two hits to lead D.C. Everest Evergreens Varsity.

Pagel went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead Wausau East Varsity Lumberjacks in hits
