At 6:43 a.m., a call came into the Clark County Sheriff’s Department from Marathon County dispatch for a multi-vehicle accident on WI-13 and Johnson Road north of Unity.
Two vehicles directly collided and an additional vehicle drove into the ditch to avoid the accident. The cause of the crash is still under investigation but believed to be due to poor road conditions.
[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10578″]Life Link III responded as well as Spencer EMS, Central Fire EMS. All transports were sent to Marshfield Medical Center but there were no on-scene fatalities. Additional response came from Marathon County Sheriff’s Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, and Colby-Abbotsford Police Department.
The road was closed for approximately two hours to allow for safety personnel to clear the accident and allow for the helicopter to land on the roadway.
Clark County had three additional reported accidents due to road conditions this morning.
