Lincoln High Boys Swim Team Shows Impressive Growth Against DC Everest

Last night, the Lincoln High School boys’ swim team faced off against DC Everest in a competitive dual meet. While DC Everest secured the win with a score of 110-48, the night was filled with personal victories and remarkable team progress for Lincoln.

The team took the opportunity to experiment with their Medley Relay lineup, resulting in some standout performances. Josh Glenzer-Czenczek delivered a swift 25.22 in the 50 Freestyle portion of the relay, showcasing his speed and adaptability.

Preston Engelbright made significant strides in the 100 Freestyle, slicing an impressive 3 seconds off his previous time to finish at 1:12.21. Meanwhile, Noah Johnson achieved a personal best in the same event, shaving 5 seconds from his time to clock in at 1:09.49.

Capping off the night, the Boys 400 Freestyle Relay team—comprising David Lee, Jose De La Cruz Chi, Joshua Glenzer-Czenczek, and Brycen Henslin—secured an inspiring 1st place finish with a time of 4:09.81.

The meet highlighted the dedication and determination of the Lincoln swimmers as they continue to push themselves and improve with each competition.
