PITTSVILLE, WI (OnFocus) – Enjoy a Summer evening with a short drive to the Pittsville Downtown Greenspace for live music.

The first event will be held on Friday, June 17th, from 6 to 9 p.m. and feature Minocqua-area musician Tuck Pence playing older rock and country.

“Our community Greenspace has a pavilion with electricity and lights – let’s use it!” stated event organizer Chris Buchanan. “Bring your lawn chairs or blanket, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be food nearby for purchase.”

Children are welcome to this family-friendly event, but please leave dogs home unless you plan to walk them through downtown while enjoying the music.

Other upcoming performances include:

  • Friday, July 8th – Jeff White from Eau Claire, with a selection of older country
  • Wednesday, August 10th – Art Stevenson, favorite local folk and bluegrass artist from Babcock
  • September – Date and artist to be announced

All performances will be 6 to 9 p.m.

“This is our first year hosting outdoor music in Pittsville. We are eager to give it a try, and welcome visitors to our community,” said Buchanan.

The Greenspace is located at the corner of Highway 80 (2nd Avenue) and Monroe Street, downtown Pittsville.
