OnFocus – This holiday season more than ever before, shoppers are encouraged to buy local. To make shopping small even more fun, Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry is launching Business Booster Bingo – a promotion that kicks off on Small Business Saturday (November 28).
“Now more than ever, these challenging times makes it necessary to support our area businesses,” said Scott Larson, President, Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry. “Part of MACCI’s mission is to provide leadership and support for the economic advancement of our community. This is the driving reason behind MACCI creating Business Booster Bingo and continuing its efforts of promoting and assisting area businesses and the community’s economy.”
Participants can pick up a bingo card at MACCI or participating businesses and then take advantage of great offers and opportunities to support the participating advertisers. Every card with a completed BINGO is eligible for a MACCI gift certificate prize drawing, with “blackout” cards being eligible for the grand prize of a $100 MACCI gift certificate.
Promotions include activities like signing up for Premier Printing’s newsletter or BOGO 1/2 off a crowler at Nutz Deep II. Other squares are educational activities, like learning about a “staycation” at Hotel Marshfield or learning more about MACCI’s Firm of the Year, Quality Roofing.
Marshfield Medical Center Credit Union used their square to encourage a donation to Ronald McDonald House.
“For our bingo spot, we are requesting donations be given to the Ronald McDonald House, in honor of MMCCU President Carol Adler,” said David Murphy, VP of Finance & Risk. “Carol serves on their Board of Directors, and will be leaving in spring to coincide with her retirement.”
“Our goal is to fill up their hospitality cart that they use to hand out items to patients staying at the hospital,” explained Murphy.

The deadline to return bingo cards is by noon on Thursday, December 31 at MACCI’s office to qualify for the prize drawings.
