As the virus continues to spread throughout the nation and into Wisconsin, businesses essential to local infrastructure continue to ensure the world keeps moving along.

For small businesses, this can be especially challenging. Facing layoffs and other financial challenges, it’s small business owners that are stepping up to make sure their customers continue to get the resources they need to survive. Local print shop Premier Printing is one such small business, supplying safety decals to the agriculture industry, important print documents to local hospitals, and other printed files as needed by local industries.

“We are a small business ourselves and are feeling the pinch of the current situation, but our goal is to do our best to help those other businesses making sure we all stay health and fed,” said Lindsey Rasmussen, co-owner. “We are part of this community and proud to be able to do our part to help.”

Rasmussen said the print shop is maintaining the highest levels of sanitation while continuing to produce these important printed materials to those businesses in need.

“It’s a scary time for everyone, but together we’ll pull through,” she said. “We’re here if anyone needs anything! Now is a great time to start designing your next project – all of which can be done virtually. We also offer customized web pages where you can sell your designs.”

With sports cancellations and school closures, Premier lost much of its regular business typical for this time of year.

“We are facing some tough times ahead, but the community has always been there for us,” said Rasmussen. “We will do what we need to do now to help the businesses that need it and hope for better days to come.”

Premier Printing is in the process of designing a special t-shirt to celebrate the health care workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Check back for more information soon!
