Voters came out in big numbers to support the area’s top teams, and it came down to two teams battling for the top spot.
Winning the title as the OnFocus Team of the Week, April 24 to April 30 was the Loyal Greyhounds Girls Track Team, picking up 292 votes.
Coming in a close second was Mosinee Girls Soccer, with 290 votes.

OnFocus Team of the Week, April 24 to April 30
- Auburndale Baseball – The Eagles had a four run lead heading into the 7th inning in their Marawood Conference game with Assumption, only to see the Royals plate 5 runs to take a one run lead. Auburndale fought back in their half with two runs to get a 10-9 win.
- Colby Girls Track – The Hornets took first at their home invitational on Tuesday, edging Merrill for first place, collecting 158 points.
- Mosinee Girls Soccer – Trailing 1-0 in their GNC matchup with Northland Pines, Mosinee fought back with a pair of goals from Kaitlyn Selle to stun Pines, 2-1.
- Merrill Boys Track – The Merrill boys took first at the Colby Invitational on Tuesday with 170 points, far ahead of second place Bloomer with 106 points.
- Loyal Girls Track – Loyal took first at the Auburndale Track Invitational on Friday with 122 points, ahead of second place Stratford(100.7) points.
