The Greyhounds outran the Hornets 51-49 in this neck-and-neck battle for 2nd place in the Eastern Cloverbelt Conference.
Remi Geiger once again took the most points for Loyal, almost half their total with 25. Savannah Schley followed with 13, and the third leading scorer was Bailey Bravener with 6.
For Colby Emma Peavy and Lexi Krebsbach each had 16, and Hailey Voelker added 11.
Loyal’s record for the season is now 14-3. Colby’s is now 11-6.
Loyal will be hosting seventh-seeded Spencer Rockets on Thursday Feb. 6th.
Colby will be travelling to Neillsville to take on the 1st place Warriors on Thursday.
