Loyal pulled away from Hurley on Friday night to win 52-16 in a first-round WIAA Division 7 playoff game. The Greyhounds enjoyed a 30-0 scoring advantage in the second half.
Matthew Szymanski rushed for 237 yards on 19 carries and scored four touchdowns to spark the Greyhounds, who held a 458-250 advantage in rushing yardage. Maverick Roehl and Stephan Buchanan combined to rush 16 times for 146 yards and two touchdowns.
