(OnFocus) The 23rd annual Make-A-Wish Truck Convoy scheduled for June 13 will not being moving forward due to COVID-19.
“Due to the coronavirus epidemic and the Safer at Home order, we will not be meeting at the Clark County Fairgrounds this year,” organizers stated in a letter update.
Each year the truck convoy raises funds for Make-A-Wish Wisconsin and has helped grant over 60 wishes for area youth, raising $18,634.28 in 2019 through donations.
“We realize everyone is hurting and money is very tight all over. If you could find it in your heart or are able to help us with a donation this year, we will be accepting monetary donations only,” said organizers.

“We know for most of you this will be a sacrifice. We really do appreciate your generosity in giving whatever amount you can. We understand if you are not able to make a donation this year; please keep us in mind for next year. We will still be here to help make wishes come true,” said organizers.
The next truck convoy is scheduled for Saturday, June 12, 2021.
