Submitted to OnFocus – On April 12, 2021 at approximately 4:00 PM the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department was dispatched to Chase St and Riverview Expressway for a report of a train vs pedestrian incident. The incident was reported that a pedestrian had walked into a train.
Upon investigation, WRPD found a male who was deceased at the scene.
Also at the scene were Wisconsin Rapids EMS, Wood County Coroner’s Office, and Canadian National.
Canadian National Railroad Police have jurisdiction for the investigation.
