Marshfield, WI (OnFocus) At 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, a Pittsville man who had provided a ride to a male individual from Walmart to N. Central Ave. reported that the man had jumped out of the window of his moving car and was not wearing shoes.
Police searched the Little Caesars area for the male subject. Wood County Dispatch shortly received a second phone call from a Marshfield woman who stated the man was pounding on her bay window and also pacing and banging on the off-duty Clark County Sheriff squad car in the driveway, the police report stated.
The officers located the 35-year-old male individual at a residence on N. Chestnut Ave. The man attempted to run away and after a short struggle was placed under arrest. Under the influence of unknown drugs, he was not responding well to questions, according to scanner reports, and was transported to the Marshfield Medical Center for medical clearance.
The male subject was transported to jail on a probation hold and is charged with obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct, according to Marshfield Police Department.
The man’s shoes were later found at Walmart.
