Marathon (OnFocus) – Marathon opened the playoffs by claiming an 81-30 regional quarterfinal win over Thorp.
Matt Vande Boom had 17 points, one of four Red Raiders scoring in double figures. Brock Warren scored 14 points, Nathan Hanke added 13, and Mike Hahn chipped in with 10 points.
Marathon advances to the regional semifinal Friday night, when they travel to Athens.
