Marathon Wrestlers Blake Underwood and Cale Quaintance Voted OnFocus Athletes of the Week, February 23 – March 1
Blake Underwood and Cale Quaintance of Marathon Boys Wrestling collected 256 votes and earned the title of OnFocus Athlete of the Week, February 23 – March 1.
Auburndale Boys Wrestling’s Colton Weiler took second place with 170 votes.
Stratford Boys Wrestling’s Carter Lueck earnee 126 votes and picked up third place.
OnFocus Athlete of the Week, February 23 – March 1
- Colton Weiler, Auburndale Boys Wrestling – Weiler captured the 150 pound title at the WIAA Division 3 Boys Wrestling Tournament.
- Tanner Gormanson, Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Boys Wrestling – Gormanson captured a title for Rapids at 285 pounds, at the WIAA Division 1 State Wrestling Tournament.
- Blake Underwood/Cale Quaintance, Marawood Boys Wrestling – Underwood(120) and Quaintance(132) each picked up state titles at the WIAA Division 3 Boys Wrestling State Tournament.
- Olivia Hofrichter Girls Wrestling, Antigo Girls Wrestling – Hofrichter(145) brought home a title for the Red Robins at 145 pounds at the WIAA Girls State Wrestling Championships.
- Carter Lueck, Stratford Boys Wrestling – Lueck captured the title at 190 pounds at the Division 3 Boys State Wrestling Tournament.
