The Playoff Picture is starting to take shape with teams starting to see if there is a path for them to the playoffs, lets see where the teams of the Marawood/CWC Conference stack up.

Qualified
Abbotsford (6-0, 4-0 M/CWC)
Edgar (5-1, 4-0 M/CWC)

Eligible
Iola-Scandinavia (5-1, 3-1 M/CWC)
Remaining games: @Edgar, Pittsville, @Auburndale
Iola-Scandinavia is eligible to make the playoffs but needs one more win to clinch a spot. They have two very tough games in the final three weeks. Making their game at home against Pittsville a must-win.

Auburndale (5-1, 3-1 M/CWC)
Remaining games: @Abbotsford, @Assumption, Iola-Scandinavia
The Eagles are in a similar situation to Iola, they have two tough games wrapped around a winnable game in Wisconsin Rapids against Assumption.

Work to do
Pacelli (1-4, 1-3 M/CWC)
Remaining: Rosholt, @Edgar, @Pittsville
The path isn’t closed but it isn’t great either. With Edgar on the schedule in week 8, it pretty much sets up two must win games to have a shot to get in. That starts this week against 1 win Rosholt.

Pittsville (1-5, 1-3 M/CWC)
Remaining: Assumption, @Iola-Scandinavia, Pacelli
The Panthers have a path to the playoffs, but it involves two wins at home. Starting with a winless Assumption on Friday night.

Rosholt (1-4, 0-4 M/CWC)
Remaining: @ Pacelli, Abbotsford, @Assumption
An upset is required of unbeaten Abbotsford in Week 8 to even get eligable in Rosholt’s last year in 11-player football. Step 1 is to beat one win Pacelli in Point on Friday night.

Assumption (0-6, 0-4 M/CWC)
Remaining: @Pittsville, Auburndale, Rosholt
The path is clear, win out, and hope for some love from the tiebreakers. Step one is a trip down Hwy 73 to Pittsville. Lose that and the Royals are out.

Check back next Wednesday for an update on everyone’s playoff hopes.
