Game summary from Marshfield Coach Jeff Molter:
A better start for us but still not tight enough to keep WR out of our net, @ 9:37 Lane Neiman cleaned up some garbage in front of our net and got WR 1st of 3 goals on the night.
We answer with a great build and ball in from Keegan Fredrick finished off by Eli Bremer to even the score at the 9:58 mark to bring us even. Play continued favoring the Tigers with possession and opportunities, at the 25:50 mark, Landon Lee (center back) gathered up a pass from Mathew Uphoff and sent a shot on frame from 30 yards out to net our second goal of the night 2-1 Tigers.
Second half WR some good adjustments and 10 minutes in evened the score at 2’s and at 62:41 found the net again to put the Tigers down 3-2. Less than a minute later at 63:32 Keegan Fredrick on a ball from Joey Ketterer unleashed a shot from 30 yards out that was a bit too much for WR Keeper and scored the 3rd and final goal of the match to leave us even at 3’s.
All in all another good showing for us, we need to tighten up on our transitional defense to prevent that from happening in the future, but I am very happy with the opportunities that we created. It will all come together soon!!!
