MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Marshfield Area Pet Shelter (MAPS) is excited to announce its upcoming Pet Clinic, scheduled for Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the MAPS facility located at 3500 Downwind Drive.
This community event is made possible through the collaboration and generous contributions of dedicated professionals. Dr. Sarah Fadden from Loyal Veterinary Services has graciously provided Rabies Vaccines for $10 each, ensuring the health and safety of our beloved pets.
Microchipping services, also priced at $10, will be conducted by MAPS staff Holly and Kaitlin, Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs), who are committed to ensuring your pets can be easily identified and returned if lost.
Pet licenses, a component of responsible pet ownership, will be available for City of Marshfield residents thanks to the efforts of Bob and Kayla, officers with the Marshfield Police Department.
The clinic welcomes all pet owners, regardless of their place of residence. Dogs must be on a leash, and cats must be in carriers for everyone’s safety and comfort.
Key services offered during the clinic include:
• Rabies Vaccines for $10 (thanks to Dr. Sarah Fadden)
• Microchipping for $10 (thanks to MAPS staff Holly & Kaitlin, CVTs)
• Pet licenses for City of Marshfield residents (thanks to Bob & Kayla, Marshfield Police Dept.)
• Important: Proof of previous rabies vaccination is required to receive a 3-year vaccine.
No appointments are necessary for this event, emphasizing accessibility and convenience for all pet owners.
“We’re grateful for the support from Dr. Sarah Fadden, Loyal Veterinary Services, Holly, Kaitlin, and the Marshfield Police Department. Their dedication to the well-being of our community’s pets is truly commendable,” said Karen Rau, Executive Director at MAPS.
