MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The Marshfield Area United Way will be holding a ribbon-cutting event for their new home, The Heckel House on Thursday, September 9th.
The ribbon cutting will take place at 4 p.m. and will be followed by refreshments and appetizers along with a tour of the new home. The new location is at 612 W. Blodgett St.
in Marshfield.
Marshfield Area United Way is a non-profit organization that strives to increase the Marshfield community’s capacity to care for one another. Marshfield Area United Way focuses on bringing our community together to prioritize and address human service needs. This is accomplished through building partnerships, forging consensus, and leveraging resources to achieve measurable, sustained, positive outcomes.
In conjunction with the ceremony and to commemorate Marshfield Area United Way’s 75th anniversary serving the Marshfield area, there will be a tree planting ceremony.
City of Marshfield Common Council President Nick Poeschel, MACCI President Scott Larson, MACCI Board of Directors Chairperson Ron Wilczek and Marshfield Area United Way Executive Director Ashley Winch are all expected to make statements ahead of the ribbon cutting.
