For Marshfield (OnFocus) – The Nutz Deep II Pride U17 Baseball team beat Marshfield’s U19 Senior American Legion team, 12-1 last night at Jack Hackman Field in Marshfield.
Pride pitchers Cam Daul, Kale Weisenberger, and Braden Trunkel combined to hold the Sr Legion squad to 5 hits in a 9 inning tilt. Simon Slade led at the plate going 3 for 3, and Logan Homolka knocked in 4 runs for the victors.
Pride’s record is now 16-4 on the shortened season. Pride plays an afternoon doubleheader at Witter Field in Wisconsin Rapids on Sunday beginning at 2pm.
