The Marshfield boys basketball team was named Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Team Academic All-State for the 2018-19 season.
Marshfield had a cumulative grade-point average of 3.779, which was the highest among the Division 1 teams nominated, during its Wisconsin Valley Conference championship season.
Three boys and three girls teams in each of the five divisions were honored with Academic All-State accolades.
This is the first time in program history Marshfield has earned the honor.
Team members for Marshfield this past season were: seniors Brant Bohman, Tommy Olson, Cody Korth and Preston Wagner, juniors Isaac Meverden, Anthony Posteluk, Sam Hinson, Kyle Tremelling, Joey Goettl, Addison Hill and Bennett Koehn, and sophomore Will Nikolai. Marshfield is coached by Scott Scheuer.
