Marshfield Boys Defeat Wausau East

report prepared by Marshfield Head Coach Jeff Molter

It was a perfect night for soccer, temps and weather were on point. We started off well, maintained good control of the ball, though our passing was off a bit (weight and accuracy wise) we managed to set the tempo of the game for the better part of 80 minutes.
We started off with a goal from Keegan Fredrick at the 10:47 mark with the assist from Antonio Koehn and netted another goal at the 36:21 mark from Aaron Ongna with the assist credited to Eli Bremer. We created some really great attacking sequences but didn’t find the net again, much of the reason for that was Andrew Kraft, Wausau Easts keeper had some pretty incredible saves last night (kudos to him).
All in all, we are again pleased with our performance but won’t quite working to make the little adjustments to make us more competitive each match.
