MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Marshfield Clinic Health System has announced the discontinuation of certain oral surgery services effective January 31. This decision is due to the system’s inability to meet the growing demand for these specific services.
As of January 1, they have restricted oral surgery offerings to consultations and procedures solely within the Marshfield location. Patients affected by this change have been notified, and strongly encouraged to collaborate with their dentists for referrals to alternative oral surgery providers.
The System noted that they remain committed to providing maxillofacial surgery for conditions related to facial trauma, facial plastic surgery, and cleft lip and palate surgery.
