Coaches Comments:

This was a really good week for us in conference play, going 4 and 0.  Our play throughout this morning was very much up and down and we didn’t have great consistency in our play.  We would have some really good runs, but then also give some up as well.  Wisconsin Rapids really played us hard and blocked us very well.  We only hit 0.138 versus them on the morning.  I thought we served very aggressively throughout the day and this put many of the teams we faced in out of system offense.  We really have been pushing the girls to serve tough and that really helped us, especially in the Everest match where we had 20 aces in 4 games.  We ended the day with 52 total aces as a team in 11 games.  We might have a little lower serve % than other teams, but we will give that up with this type of ace %.  I cannot say how proud I am of this team with the start we have had on the season being at 22-1 overall and 5-0 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.
