OnFocus – Marshfield Fire and Rescue’s Green Shift responded to a car fire on Thanksgiving morning on W 7th Street. Marshfield Police Department also responded.
Upon arrival, the vehicle was fully engulfed. According to the report, the vehicle had been purchased the previous day. The driver and passenger had been returning home when the dash of the vehicle began to smoke. They parked and exited. Very shortly after, the fire began. MFLD extinguished the fire. The vehicle is a total loss.
No one was hurt. The department encourages everyone to stay safe over the holidays!
