Marshfield Girls Golf collected the most votes and earned the title of OnFocus Team of the Week, October 1 – October 7, earning 254 votes.
Mosinee Football came in second place, with 126 votes.
OnFocus Team of the Week, October 1 – October 7
- Columbus Catholic Boys Soccer – The Dons claimed their third straight conference championship, and will head to the boys soccer playoffs on a roll with a veteran squad. Columbus also celebrated the volleyball team’s 7th straight Cloverbelt Conference Title.
- Mosinee Football- Mosinee used big plays on offense and a stifling defense to collect a 14-0 win over Medford, taking over sole possession of first place in the GNC. Mosinee collected touchdowns from Keagen Jirschele, a 43 yard run, and from a 71 yard strike from Gavin Obremski to Brady Lokken. The Mosinee defense collected six interceptions, led by Jirschele’s four picks.
- Amherst Volleyball (nominated online) – The Falcons went 4-0 on Saturday at the Crandon Invite, collecting wins over Gillett, Wausaukee, Three Lakes and Crandon.
- Wausau East Boys Soccer – East picked up two wins on Saturday, defeating Green Bay West 9-1 and Superior 2-1. The Lumberjacks are 5-1 in their last six games.
- Marshfield Girls Golf (nominated online) – For the first time in school history, the Tigers picked up a regional title last week.
